While talking about the used music marketplace a few weeks ago, I’d assumed that classical CDs would prove to be more collectible than pop music.

That theory is in the trash. Almost all of the classical recordings I own are unlistable. Perhaps I have bad taste in classical CDs. Perhaps there are too many recordings of the same few hundred ‘pop classics’. Or perhaps classical collectors use other venues than half.com for their transactions. Whatever it is, all of the Bethoven and Bach are still here. I don’t think 2% of the classic CDs I own even appear in Half.com’s database.
